One of the largest birds of prey in North America, the Osprey eats almost exclusively fish. It is one of the most widespread birds in the world, found on all continents except Antarctica.

Beautiful work. The osprey is such a magnificent bird.

I had the pleasure of photographing osprey with three young (fledged successfully) a few years ago. They were wonderful to watch as the female sat in the nest and called to her mate to bring in food for she and the young.
