WMAs opened: The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has reopened the Everglades and Francis S. Taylor, Holey Land and Rotenberger wildlife management areas to public access. The areas were closed by executive order in August after high water levels jeopardized wildlife. The water levels have since receded.
